Insurance

There are a few reasons why I do not take insurance. The first and most important reason is that when working with insurance one has to submit a medical diagnosis. Often there is no medical diagnosis to give, such as when couples come in with relationship problems, which one of the two should have a diagnosis? Also, many people do not want this on their medical records and when working with insurance, clients forgo some of their confidentiality. I am able to offer you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Payment

I accept cash, checks, Venmo and credit cards for payment. Payment is due at time of service and I will require a credit card be kept on file. Unless otherwise requested, your session fee will be charged to the the card on file.

Cancelation Policy

You are responsible for attending each appointment. If you cannot keep the scheduled appointment, you MUST notify me to cancel or reschedule the appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. Failure to adhere to this 24-hour cancellation policy will result in a fee. Missed appointment charges will automatically be charged to your card unless other arrangements are made.

What types of therapy do you provide?

Individual Therapy

One-to-one mental health service which gives the individual a private and safe space to process and heal.

Couples Therapy

I love working with both premarital couples and couples who have reached a snag in their relationship. Actually, studies have even shown that when one person suffers from a particular issue (like depression) prognosis is often better when both partners come to therapy.  I also love working with families.

Family Therapy

An impactful way to change family dynamics. This can include families with small children and also families with adult children. Healing, process and growth happens in our most important relationships.

Tele-therapy / Online Therapy

This is done through a HIPAA compliant platform on Simple Practice. You will be sent out a link via email the day before your scheduled appointment.
